“To have lived a successful life is to laugh often and much...to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a little bit better...to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded!”

Taken 2 Soon by Foreign Nationals
The following stories involve foreign nationals that were here illegally and caused fatal accidents here in the States.
Should we allow foreign nationals that take the lives of our loved ones leave the country?
Oliver Kasprizik has returned to Germany after taking Mikey from us - maybe if had tried to flee he would still be here.
Since Kasprizik wasn't here illegally - is it really acceptable in our system for him to leave the country so easily?
HOLLAND, MI -- An illegal immigrant who allegedly caused a fatal crash by turning in front of a motorcyclist was charged Thursday with trying to leave the scene of the deadly collision.
Rodrigo Delacruz-Encarnacion, 25, is jailed on a $100,000 bond following his arraignment in Holland District Court on the felony, which is punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
Police say Delacruz-Encarnacion is responsible for killing William O'Brien, 52, of Holland in an 8 p.m. Wednesday crash. O'Brien was driving his 1996 Harley-Davidson south on Butternut Drive when the suspect's minivan turned into the path of his motorcycle.
O'Brien could not avoid the crash, and struck the passenger side of the van. He died at the scene. His family declined to comment on the accident.
Ottawa County sheriff's Lt. Steve Kempker said witnesses had to detain Delacruz-Encarnacion at the scene of the crash until police arrived. He was arrested and taken to the Ottawa County Jail.
The suspect has been in the country illegally since the spring and has been working odd jobs and living in migrant camps, police said. He allegedly had fraudulent identification when he was arrested.
Authorities believe Delacruz-Encarnacion is a risk for fleeing the area since he has no ties to Holland.AURORA, Colo. (Map, News) - A man accused in a hit-and-run crash that killed three people in Aurora is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
Aurora police say 23-year-old Francis Hernandez was the driver of an SUV that ran a red light on Thursday, crashed into a pickup, and pushed it into a Baskin Robbins ice cream shop.
Two women in the pickup died instantly, and a toddler who was inside the shop died later at a hospital.
A memorial of cards, flowers, candles and stuffed animals is growing outside the store.
Immigration officials say it appears Hernandez was born outside the U.S., and have placed a hold on him. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesman Carl Rusnok says that means Hernandez will be handed over to immigration authorities if the state releases him.

One More Day (lyrics:Diamond Rio)

Mikey Murr - Taken 2 Soon
We are all reeling from the pain, shock, anger and sadness.
Hundreds of friends and family gathered together to pay respect to him and prop each other up for the days ahead.
At the candlelit vigil and funeral service people stood to offer words of loving remembrance and stories about living with Mikey.
He now lies within the protective aura of his godfather whose resting place is right behind Mike's and depicts Fred as larger than life even after death.
While Oliver Kasprizik likely did not intend to take him from us that day, the combination of his negligence and our traffic laws have allowed him to return to Germany with a mere traffic ticket.
This has increased the confusion that we all feel in trying to grapple with the trauma that has touched all of our lives.
The increase in the use of motorcycles and scooters in these days of high gas prices has seemingly increased the number of motorcycle related accidents and deaths to an unnerving level.
Our hearts are broken and a hole has been blown through the fabric of our lives and reality.
Mikey was clearly Taken 2 Soon from us all.
